Calling all able-bodied Britons!
To put it simply, you should join to have fun. If putting on a British uniform and fighting for King and Country, all while educating the general public, sounds fun then you should join.
The following is a list of items every new recruit is expected to have prior to joining the 1st Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers in Spain
Once you have met with an officer of the unit and have paid your dues, you will receive a list of the items needed to join the Fusiliers on the field. The information packet will not only provide you with what to get, but will provide an idea where to get it and how much to expect to pay. It is an expensive hobby and you aren't expected to purchase all the necessary items immediately. To that end, we do have some loaner gear you can borrow still have fun with the unit.
